Duncan Carver's Link Management Assistant is a very good link exchange directory you can add to your website.  Import links from DMOZ and exchange links with other websites to increase your rankings in the search engines. Best of all it's FREE.

What you need to know about using Duncan Carver's Link Management Assistant on AN Hostings servers.

1.) Create your database

2.) Before you upload the LMA script:

  • Read Duncan's License agreement and the readme.txt file

  • Make sure you have the most current version of LMA and the admin.php update

  • rename the directory file to directory.php

  • set the folder you will be installing the LMA script in to 755
     

3.) Upload the contents per the LMA readme.txt file


4.) After you upload the LMA script:

  • All Folders and Files that are recommended to be 777 should be set to 755

  • admin.php, directory.php, install.php and settings.php should all be set to 755

  • the cpatcha temp folder and its contents should be set to 755

 

5.) Go to http://www.yoursite.com/yourLMAfolder/install.php

  • After the installation, login to the admin area and click on Settings

  • Enter all your info, then under DIRECTORY CONFIGURATION, change DIRECTORY NAME to directory.php

  • Once you click on Save Settings at the bottom of the page, you will get an error at the top of the page. NO NEED TO WORRY, continue on and enjoy.
