How can you be as successful or even
more successful than I have been? It's mainly based on how much time your

It's not magic either, you just don't
create a website and put a couple banners on it and have money start
flowing. It takes time, work and patience but you will be rewarded for
your efforts.
Getting Started
There's a lot to learn about websites and affiliate marketing. I will give
you the basics here so you can get off to a good start.

Put your plan in writing, get and stay
organized.

Think of a good domain name. Make sure
it has the word "dating" or "personals" in it. Use only one hyphen at the
most a try to get a .com or .net domain.

If you've clicked on any of my website links above, you will see that
there are many good domain names available, just add a number to the end
of a .com domain name that is taken and you may find a winner. BUT, do not
infringe on the name of any companies such as adultfriendfinder2.com may
land you in court.

Find a
website hosting
company. If you're going the adult route, you will need an adult
hosting company. Read their terms of service. Many of these
web host offer free website
builders and they also include free dating scripts. You can also search
and find free dating site scripts and have them installed or give it a try
yourself. You will never catch up to the amount of members that Adult
Friend Finder or the other large dating sites have but you will have a
relevant website to post your affiliate banners and links on.

Install a link exchange script on your
site. Don't just settle for the first one you find. Look around. Something
new appears every few months.

Once your website is up and running you
will need to promote it. Start exchanging links with other dating sites.
Go to Google, Yahoo and MSN.com and visit the top 20 or 30 sites for each
popular keyword phrase you can think of: "adult dating", "adult
personals", "personal ads", "online dating", etc... Visit these site and
see if they accept link exchanges and read their submission directions.

category for your website.
NEVER participate in or send spam e-mails to market your website.

Write a dating article and submit it to
free article sites such as goarticles.com and digg.com and many others. A
well written article will be picked up by many website owners and used on
their websites. As long as you correctly added your website link in your
article, these will all be free one way inbound links back to your
website.

Include your domain name (www.yourdatingsite.com)
in all your advertising and promotions.

Study internet marketing and website
promotion. If you try
PPC -
Pay Per Click campaigns, always set a daily or monthly budget. Do not
over spend on your advertising.

And one more tip I have yet to venture
into but I'm sure would work great. Create a video, make sure you edit in
your domain name in the beginning and end of the video and submit it to
YouTube and other free video websites. These are free TV commercials for
your website that can draw tons of traffic when done correctly.
